Lillian N. Moseley, 84, a resident of Elsanor, died Tuesday, May 18, 2010 peacefully in her home.
She was very active in the community, serving not only as a mother of three children and devoted wife but also as a leader of 50-plus years in the Elsanor Homemakers Club, Farm Bureau Women’s Group, Cattleman's Association Cow Bells, Zion Lutheran Church Ladies Aid, Elsanor Community Center, and was an award winning seamstress and baker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Moseley of Elsanor.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn L. Moseley of Elsanor; two sons, Robert L. Moseley Sr. of Elsanor and Stephen C. Moseley of Sandy Springs, Ga.; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 21 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Family graveside services and interment will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 22 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Elsanor.
