Franklin Dee Mothershed, 65, a native of Foley and a resident of Seminole, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2008.
He served in the U.S. Army.
Survivors include seven daughters, Teresa Williams of Summerdale, Carol Burton and Faye Stone, both of Foley, Cindy Burgebin of Seminole, Dorothy Hilton of Foley, Marie Hilton and Gladys Mobley, both of Bon Secour; two sons, John H. Burton of Bon Secour and Steve Burton of Houston; three sisters, Lois Crabtree of Seminole, Patsy Frank of Elberta and Shirley Jarman of Pensacola, Fla.; brothers, three Bill Mothershed of Foley, Robert Mothershed of Stanford, Fla., and David Mothershed of Lillian; 20 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life was held Sunday, Aug. 17 at the home of Lois M. Crabtree.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 3100 Samford, Ave., Shreveport, LA 71103.
Cremation arrangements were made by Muck Funeral Home, Robertsdale.
