Mr. Andrew Truman “A.T.” Dunsford, age 84, of Foley, Ala., passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at South Baldwin Regional Medical Center in Foley, Ala.
Mr. Dunsford was a native of Jay, Fla. and a resident of Foley for 25 years coming from Century, Fla.
During his working years he worked as a self-employed mechanic.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Korean Conflict where he earned the Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the United Nations Service Medal.
He was a Mason and of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marie Dunsford of Foley, Ala.; sons, Eddie (Brenda) Dunsford of Century, Fla., Butch (Karen) Nall of Century, Fla., Buster (Melinda) Nall of Century, Fla., Steven Nall of Foley, Ala., James Howard McCurdy of Bluff Springs, Fla.; daughters, Cheryl (Ken) White of Atmore, Ala., June (Billy) Odom of Century, Fla., Faye (Billy Joe) Scott of Byrneville, Fla., Linda (Houston) Roberson of Flomaton, Ala.; sister, Lavon LaCosta of Pensacola, Fla.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel, from 6 until 9 p.m.
Services will be held on Monday, June 8, 2015 at Flomaton Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m., with Rev. Harold Brown officiating.
Interment will follow in Flomaton Cemetery, Flomaton, Ala. with military honors.
Pallbearers will be Keith Faulk, Gaylan Shelly, William Odom, Danny Fuller, Buster Nall, James Kornegay.
