Mr. Charles Hubbert Caraway, 89, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016 in Stockton, Ala.
Mr. Caraway was a native of Atmore, Ala. and a resident of Stockton, Ala. for the past 30 years.
Mr. Caraway was retired from the shipyard in Mobile, Ala.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Author Caraway; and a daughter, Elsie Hart.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Jean Caraway of Stockton, Ala.; four daughters, Irma Day of Rabun, Ala., Marie Mosley of Stockton, Ala., Diann Bryars of Perdido, Ala. and Marilyn Day of Rabun, Ala.; one brother, Jimmy Caraway of Atmore, Ala.; three sisters, Eloise Copeland of Atmore, Ala., Louise Williams of Atmore, Ala. and Mary Hamby of Ovett, Miss.; a number of grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Sunday, Feb. 7, 2016 at 2 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home, with Rev. Ray Harville officiating.
Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
