Mr. Hubert “Nub” Rolin, 72, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2016 in Poarch, Alabama.
Mr. Rolin was a native and lifelong resident of Poarch, Alabama.
He was a member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, avid fisherman and hunter. He was of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie Fay Rolin; and daughter, Sonya Howard.
He is survived by his six sons, Adam Bailey of Goodway, Alabama, Shane Bailey of Goodway, Alabama, Bubba (Rhonda) Rolin of Atmore, Alabama, Mike (Sherry) Rolin of Atmore, Alabama, Keith (Renee) Rolin of Bay Minette, Alabama and Timmy (Sophia Green) Rolin of Atmore, Alabama; two daughters, Christy Bailey of Goodway, Alabama and Taffy (Ronnie Lassitter) Rolin of Booneville, Alabama; 22 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at 10 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with Sis. Helen Stewart officiating.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at the Judson Creek Indian Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Nall, Chasen Rolin, Eric Rolin, Andrew McGhee, Tommy Morrow and John Calvin Dannelly.
Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Emmons, Gravis Sells, Tony Sells, John Jay, Charles McDowell, Thomas Earl, Mark Johnson and Homer Coleman.
