Mr. Thaddeus Lawrence Wisneski, age 79, a native of Unionville, Mich. and resident of Foley, Ala., passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015.
Mr. Wisneski was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, where he proudly served his country from 1954-1956. He also was a member of the American Legion Post 99, member of the Elks Lodge 2782 and a member of St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thaddeus and Mary Ann (Kata) Wisneski; and brother, John Wisneski.
He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Wisneski of Foley, Ala., daughter, Patricia Burns (Donald) of St. Joseph, Mich.; son, Jeffrey Wisneski (Laura) of Hudsonville, Mich.; son, Brian Wisneski (Tammy) of Stevensville, Mich.; sister, Gloria Vandemark of Standish, Mich.; and six grandchildren, Ryan, Nicole, Sarah, Carly, Tiffany and Kelsey.
The family suggests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in Mr. Wisneski’s honor to William F. Green Veterans Home, 300 Faulkner Dr., Bay Minette, AL 36507-1461, or to St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, 601 W. Laurel Ave., Foley, AL 36535.
