Mr. Thomas Sidney Allen Sr., a native of Florence, Alabama and a resident of Fairhope, Alabama, passed away early Tuesday morning, May 29, 2018.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lindsay Allen Sr. and Ruby Denton Allen; and his brothers, Lindsay Allen Jr. and Jim Allen.
A retiree of BellSouth Corp., his fondest memories are of spending time with his grandkids, substitute teaching at Fairhope High School and gardening.
He is survived by his wife, Pam; his children, Thomas Allen Jr. (Melonie), Todd Allen (Kim), Shelley Allen, Beth Puckett (Walter), Patrick Mitchell (Kasi) and Bryan Mitchell (Cara); grandchildren, Carter Thomas Frederick Allen, Edward Hale Puckett, Finley Noel Smith, Kayman Taylor Mitchell, Mitchell Graham Puckett, Parker Allen Mitchell, Tyler Jacob Allen, Ava Hayden Mitchell and Stella Claire Mitchell; sister, Mary Daily; sister-in-law, Sylvia Allen (Lindsey); and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
The celebration of life will be held at St. Lawrence Catholic Church on Saturday, June 2, with visitation at 2:30 p.m. followed by the service at 3:30 p.m.
