Mrs. Johnnie Lou Rodgers,age 83, a long time resident of Foley and current resident of Huxford, Ala, died Tuesday, Dec. 18, 2012.
Mrs. Rodgers was preceded in death by her husband, Ebbie Ray (Tony) Rodgers; parents, Anna and Henry C. Nelson Sr.; son, Harold Ray Rodgers; grandson, Chandlor Alan Beech; twin great-grandsons, Brody and Bryson Wilson; brother, Floyd Nelson; and sister, Annie Ruth Thompson. She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Rodgers of Huxford; daughter, Brenda (Joe) Coker of Huxford; daughter, Debbie (Darrell) Beech of Foley; son, Lonnie Rodgers of Foley; daughter, Annette Rodgers of Huxford; brother, Henry C. Nelson Jr.(Virginia)of Milton Fla; sister, Betty Childress of Milton Fla; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great- grandchildren.The visitation will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 at Pine Rest Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 21, 2012 and Pine Rest Funeral Home with the interment to follow in Pine Rest Memorial park. The funeral arrangements are by Pine Rest Funeral Home.
