Mrs. LaVonne M. Blackmon, age 81, a native of Yale, Ohio and a resident of Loxley, Alabama, passed away Monday, July 9, 2018.
She is survived by her husband, Buford Blackmon of Loxley, Alabama; two children, Lynette (Jim) Neasbitt of Bells, Texas, Rodney (Linda) Nicholas of Preston, Mississippi; two stepchildren, Beryl (Alton) Allen of Loxley, Alabama, C. Greg (Debbie) Blackmon of Alexander City, Alabama; three grandchildren, Amanda, Korey and Morgan; five step-grandchildren, Mike, Niki, Gary, Ben and Molly; one great-grandchild; and nine step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Mack Funeral Home, with a visitation from 9 a.m. until the 10:00 a.m. service.
Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery, Loxley, Alabama.
Pallbearers include Brian Hines, Dennis Young, Korey Lee, Mike Martin, JoJo Jones and Joey Higginbotham.
