Mrs. Ruth (Snookie) Kling passed away Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2016, at the age of 80.
She was preceded by her husband C.W. (Bill) Kling III.
Snookie was a devout member of St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church in Foley, Ala. and was a genuine “Steel Magnolia,” a strong Southern lady and beautiful woman.
As a business woman, she owned and operated Tiny Togs, a baby clothes store and kept her grandchildren well clothed. She enjoyed her life on Fish River and will be missed by her loving family.
Mrs. Kling is survived by her sister, Lynn Allen; children Bill Kling, Kirk Kling and Tammy Murray; grandchildren, Kaylie, Alycia Brooke, Billy, Joseph and Christian; great-grandchildren, Cora and Vala.
The wake will be held on Friday, Feb. 12, 2016 from 6–8 p.m. at the Pine Rest Funeral Home, 16541 U.S. Hwy. 98, Foley AL 36535, where flowers may be sent.
The funeral mass will be held on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016 beginning at 11 a.m. at St. Margaret of Scotland Catholic Church, 601 W. Laurel Ave., Foley, AL, 36535, where she will also be buried.
