FOLEY, Alabama — MSBC Director, Charlotte Below, used the Foley Christmas parade to promote the 2012 pageant that will be held on January 22 in the Foley Civic Center.

"It is with great pride that we return our pageant to the Foley Civic Center. This year we are planning a Sunday, 2:00pm affair in hopes that we will not have as many community conflicts as we have had in the past. At the present time we have five contestants and would like to encourage Baldwin County ladies who have reached 'The Age of Elegance', sixty years, to participate", Below states.

Contestants are judged in four categories, interview, philosophy of life, talent and poise. The winner will proceed to the state pageant that is held in the spring and that winner represents Alabama in the national Ms. Senior America pageant in Atlantic City.

Deadline for applicants is December 27. Contact Ms. Below at 251-965-3611 for additional details or visit www.msseniorbaldwincounty.com.
