BAY MINETTE, Ala. — Testimony begins Monday for a Gulf Shores man charged with murder in the fatal shooting of another man Feb. 3, 2010.

Robert Alexander Hertel, 30, of Colonial Parkway, allegedly shot Jesse Cross dead during an altercation and seriously wounded Rick Cross.

Hertel was arrested the day of the shooting and indicted April 23, 2010, court records state.
