Max Loyd Myers, 93, a native of Dowagiac, Mich., and a resident of Fairhope, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, at his residence.
He lived in Fairhope for 26 years and was a member of Fairhope Ave Baptist Church.
Survivors include his loving wife, Rachel V. Myers of Fairhope; daughter, Sharron Cooney of California; two step-daughters, Gloria (Arvol) Bishop of Fairhope and Sylvia (Wayne) Prewett of Bay Minette; two stepsons, George W. (Doreen) Hornady of Bay Minette and Robert E. Vines of Fairhope; 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 23 from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
