Myrna Jean Sawyer Hamric, 77, a native of Monroeville and a resident of Spanish Fort, died Monday, July 4, 2011.
She was preceded in death by son, Steve Hall; and brother, Wayne Sawyer.
Survivors include her husband of 50 years, Joe Hamric of Spanish Fort; three sons, Joey (Tina) Hamric of Daphne, Mark (Kim) Hamric of Spanish Fort, Paul Hamric of Orlando, Fla.; daughter, Pam (Troy) Nettles of Spanish Fort; 10 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Martin Lester for his loving care and support. They would also like to thank the Faith Bible Class of the Eastern Shore Baptist Church for their love and prayers.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. with funeral services at 3 p.m. Thursday, July 7 at Eastern Shore Baptist Church, Daphne. Interment will follow at Jubilee Memorial Gardens.
The family requests memorial donations be made to The Eastern Shore Baptist Church Youth Building Fund, P.O. Box 128, Daphne, AL 36526.
