Myrtice Yvonne Dyer, 80, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 28, 2018 under the care of Springhill Hospice in Foley, Alabama.
Yvonne was born to Carl and Naomi Hand on March 2, 1938 in Hazlehurst, Georgia. She was the sixth of 10 siblings.
Preceded in death by a son, Stephen (Big Papa) Hughes; her parents; and five siblings.
She is survived by a loving and dedicated husband of 10 years, Robert L. Dyer of Foley, Alabama; two devoted children, Beverly Lunsford (Marty), Silverhill, Alabama and Robert Hughes (Hillary), Pace, Florida; two brothers, Raymond Hand and Carl Hand Jr.; and one sister, Brenda Garrett; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
Private memorial service will be held in Hazlehurst on April 21, 2018.
