Myrtle Belle Robinette, 85, a native of Baldwin County and a resident of Gulf Shores, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2011.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Elmer Peterson Sr. and Bama May Belle Boyington Peterson; a son Larry Eugene Ford; four sisters, Ethel Bayley, Carnellia Baggett, Sally Simons and Alice McLemore; and brother, Calvin Frank Peterson.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Grover Eugene Robinette of Gulf Shores; step-son, James E. (Patricia) Robinette of Leighton; step-daughter, Amy (Bug) Gamble of Kingston, Tenn.; sister, Eileen Studlar of Mobile; brother, Henry Elmer Peterson Jr. of Bay Minette; two step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation begins at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17 at Mack Funeral Home with funeral at 2 p.m. from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Steve Dumas officiating. Burial will follow at Bay Minette Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations be made to Lagoon Baptist Church, 17867 Highway 180, Gulf Shores, AL 36542.
