Mr. and Mrs. Jose Nelson Napeñas of Tuscalossa announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Marie Napeñas, to James Paul Lyles III, son of James Paul Lyles Jr. and Jody Hill Lyles of Bay Minette
The bride-elect is a 1999 graduate of Central High School and received a bachelor’s degree in finance in 2003 from the University of Alabama, and a master’s in business administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2006.
She was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority.
She is employed by Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Alabama in Mobile.
She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Leopoldo Pascua Napeñas and the late Mr. and Mrs. Deogracias Bagsic Tanedo, all of the Phillipines.
The prospective bridegroom is a 1999 graduate of Baldwin County High School and received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in 2005 from The University of Alabama.
He is employed by Volkert & Associates in Foley.
He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Paul Lyles Sr. of Bay Minette, Gloria Morgan of Blytheville, Ark., and Don Hill of Virginia Beach, Va.
The couple will exchange vows at 7 p.m. April 5, 2008 at North River Yacht Club in Tuscaloosa.
