BAY MINETTE, Ala. - North Baldwin Center for Technology students and teachers attended the Joint Leadership Development Conference on Sept 27 at the Renaissance Montgomery Hotel and Convention Center in Montgomery
The conference was available to all career and technical education advisors, students, JROTC, and Jobs for Alabama Graduates (JAG) and is designed to provide leadership development. Tomorrow’s competitive world demands skilled and experienced leaders that are prepared to grow and make an impact.
Alabama looks to career and technical education graduates for those leaders. The conference provided the opportunity for leadership development focusing on career skill-building, self-improvement, communication, and chapter management.
Students and teachers heard dynamic keynote speakers and had the opportunity to branch out and meet others who have the same goals, interests, and motivation to succeed.
State Rep. Harry Shiver, District 64, assisted NBCT by making a charitable donation of $500 to fund travel for the students and teachers in our Career Technical Student Organizations that attended the Joint Leadership Development Conference.
