Bay Minette, Ala. —  In appreciation for years of loyal service to the greater Bay Minette area, North Baldwin Utilities (NBU) presented proclamations to former Board of Directors Dr. William D. Godbey and J.M. “Pete” Pedersen.

The proclamations were presented at the April 27 board meeting. Godbey and Pedersen’s terms expired on Feb. 28. Godbey served on the Board since February 2005. Pedersen served on the Board since March of 2005.

“We really appreciate the dedication, time and hard work of all our past and current board members. The six years of service given by both Godbey and Pedersen will not soon be forgotten,” said Jason M. Padgett, general manager and CEO.

James H. “Jim” Robertson and Larry F. Taylor replaced Godbey and Pedersen. They joined current Board of Directors Richard I. Gaines, Benjamin A. Bailey and Mayor Jamie Tillery.
