BAY MINETTE, Ala.— Nearly 100 youth athletes turned out for the 3rd annual Coach McDaniel Kids Football Camp. The camp was led by Baldwin County High School coaches and players who worked with the campers on fine-tuning their skills.
Campers participated in numerous exercises and learned defensive and offensive techniques. The first night of camp was held at Lyle Underwood Stadium and gave the young athletes a chance to play on the big field under bright lights.
Bad weather moved the second night to the Indoor Practice Facility and campers were again put through of series of lessons. They also got a visit and pep talk from BCHS alum and NFL player Wallace Gilberry.
