Neil Martin Vander Noot, 91, of Gulf Shores, passed away Oct. 21, 2014.
He was a United States Army veteran, who served in World War II.
He was a graduate of Michigan State University, a member and elder of First Presbyterian Church of Gulf Shores and a past scoutmaster of Boy Scouts of America.
He is survived by his wife, M.J. Vander Noot of Gulf Shores; two sons, Craig (Gloria) Vander Noot of Gulf Shores and Scott (Julie) Vander Noot of Kalamazoo ,Mich.; a brother, Marvin Vander Noot of Michigan; a grandchild, Marty Vander Noot of Birmingham; and three great-grandchildren.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
