Nellie Mae “Penny” Lyles, 89, born in Stockton, and a resident of Bay Minette, died Friday, March 30, 2012 at a local hospital.
She was a secretary for 17 years at the First Presbyterian Church of Bay Minette. She is survived by her children, Penelope Miller (Richard) Eubanks, Monrovia, Md., and Robert M. (Trachy) Miller, Atmore; four grandchildren, Dallas Eubanks, Nancy Catherine Eubanks, Wilton Miller and Gordon Miller; and three great-grandchildren, Maggie Miller, Charlie Miller and Hannah Eubanks. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Arthur Miller and great grandsons, Jarrod, Aubrey and Brannon Miller.
Graveside services and burial will be Wednesday, April 4, at 10 a.m. at Stockton Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Jim Thorpe officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Atmore, 208 East Horner St., Atmore, AL 36502, or to the First Presbyterian Church of Bay Minette, P.O. Box 1508, Bay Minette, AL 36507.
