Albert “Dub” Francis Nelson, age 68, a native of Foley and resident of Fairhope, diedTuesday, Sept. 2, 2008.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia M. Nelson.
Survivors include two sons, Albert Randolph Nelson of Callands, Va., and Marcus Francis Nelson of Fairhope; three daughters, Lucretia A. (Pat) Pierce of Fairhope, Debbie Pate Bishop of Fairhope and Valerie Faye Crews of Columbia, Ky.; five sisters, Katherine Grounds of Magnolia Springs, Linda Blackwell of Fairhope, Carolyn Shelby of Fairhope, Dianne Nelson of Magnolia Springs and Laura Smith of Gulf Shores; two brothers, William Nelson of Gulf Shores and Joseph Nelson of Foley; five grandchildren, many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation begins at 9:30 a.m. with funeral services at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5 at at Wesleyan Church in Magnolia Springs. Interment will follow at Brook-Cedron Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Fairhope.
