FAIRHOPE, Ala. — Joseph and Carolyn Self, Fairhope, announce the engagement of their son, Brian Christopher Self to Lindsey Kay Nelson, daughter of Robert and Kimberly Nelson, Aurora, Ohio, and Megan and Theodore Gregorek, Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
The bride-to-be graduated from Kenston High School and from Bowling Green State University with a B.A. in psychology and sociology. She is preparing for pharmacy school in Charleston, S.C.
Brian graduated from Maumee High School and from Bowling Green State University with a B.A. in history and sociology. He earned a juris doctorate from Duke University and is employed as a financial advisor with Edward Jones in Charleston, S.C.
They are planning a May 18, 2012 wedding at The O’Donnell House, Sumter, S.C.
