FAIRHOPE, Ala. - Exercising your civic voice just got a little easier.

All of Fairhope’s elected officials can now be contacted via one e-mail message through the city’s website.

City Council President Lonnie Mixon announced the new one-stop e-mail access to local officials at Monday’s council meeting.

“Jason Colee has added a quick link” to the city’s website, so that one message can be sent to all elected officials, said Mixon, referring to the city’s information technology director.

“Please see the bottom paragraph of the copy on the main page,” Colee stated by e-mail this week. “I’m going to move it to a more prominent location next week, but for now there is a ‘click here’ message.”

E-mails sent to that address will be delivered to the city’s elected officials, according to the city’s website. Fairhope’s elected officials consist of the mayor and the five members of the council.

“In order to better serve our citizens, we want to make it easier to contact your elected officials,” the last paragraph on the city’s homepage states. “To send a message to all City elected officials, please click here.”

The e-mail address to contact all elected official is ourvoice@cofairhope.com and can also be accessed via the city’s website at www.cofairhope.com.
