At the August luncheon of the South Baldwin Newcomers' Club, speakers were John Craig Barker, Director of Operations & Personnel and  Laura E. Smith, Director of Marketing and Public Relations of the Mobile Symphony Orchestra. Our Second Vice President, Nancy Ruback, did an excellent job of planning a most ineteresting speaker. Mr. Barker has an exceptional background in symphonic music training, and is in a unique position since he plays in the symphony and also directs symphony operations.  From left are Laura Smith, Nancy Ruback and John Craig Barker.
