ORANGE BEACH, Ala. - The South Baldwin Newcomers’ Club will have it’s June Brunch on Tuesday at the Orange Beach Senior Activity Center 26251 Canal Road, Orange Beach (next to Library).

The doors open at 8:45 a.m. and brunch begins at 9 a.m. No need for reservations this month, but please bring a small dish to share; one that you would enjoy for “brunch.”

Club members derive such fun from working together as they raise monies to then give back to the community. This end-of-the-year brunch is the time when our club traditionally presents checks to the committee recommended, board-selected local charities and presents scholarship checks to three deserving graduating students.

The for the brunch will be “Party With a Purpose.” If you own parrot attire, feel free to wear it to this brunch.

It is also time to renew memberships – The SBNC Club year is from July 1 through June 30. Dues paid by July 1 will be included in the current year directory.

A monthly newsletter, the “Sandpiper,” is published each month except July. Annual dues are: $20 if the “Sandpiper” is emailed; $30 if a hard copy is postal mailed. The renewal form can be picked up at the brunch or can be found on the web site.
