Nona Lee Parnell, 90, a native of Perdido and a resident of Robertsdale, died Sunday, May 6, 2012.
Mrs. Parnell was preceded in death by husband, Denise Parnell; son, James “Buddy” Parnell; daughter, Doris Hammock; and three grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Norma Watson, Robertsdale, Shirley (Ron) Roberts, Foley; five sons, Ray (Cleone) Parnell, Bay Minette, Vernie (Martha) Parnell and Hank (Linda) Parnell, both of Robertsdale, David (Wolanda) Parnell, Silverhill, and Tony (Lona) Parnell, Foley; sister, Virginia Hobbs, Bay Minette; 26 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 9, at 10 a.m. at the Church of God of Prophesy, Robertsdale. Burial will be in the Bethel Baptist Cemetery, Robertsdale.
A visitation will be Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Mack Funeral Home.
