Norma Glee Moore, 89, a native of Hamilton, Mo., and resident of Fairhope, died Friday, July 8, 2011.
She retired from the Federal Government Civil Service after over 30 years of service. She was formerly employed with the War Department at the Pentagon, and she was a member of Fairhope United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Mary Margaret Moore; and her husband of 50 years, Clinton Cleburne Moore of San Augustine, Texas.
Survivors include two sons, Gerald L. (Phyllis) Moore of Fairhope and David W. (Elena) Moore of San Antonio, Texas; four grandchildren, Elizabeth Haynes of Fairhope, James Moore of Alabaster, Jeremy Moore of Hillsboro, Ore., and Amy Thomas of Calera; six great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Monday, July 11 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Fairhope, with funeral services at 11 a.m. from the funeral home chapel. Graveside services will be held in Arlington, Texas, at a later date.
