Margaret Norris, 80, a native of Georgetown, Ky., and a resident of Foley, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010.
She was a lifetime member of the Wesleyan Church. She was known for her cooking, hospitality and singing.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, Robert Norris Sr. of Foley; two daughters, Patricia Norris (Lew) Lasyone of Pineville, La., and Barbara Norris (Jim) Beam of Foley; three sons, Robert A. (Judy) Norris Jr. of Thomasville, Stephen D. (Joyce) Norris Foley and Dan Norris of Foley; 11 grandchildren, Michelle, Brian, Stephen, Scott and Layton Norris, Amy and David Lasyone, Beth Young, Charlotte Palmero, Andrea and Jonathan Norris; 14 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Betty (Sanford) Miller of Summerdale and Mary (Wesley) Norris of Foley; brother, Martin “Buggs” (Debby) Campbell and his wife Debby of College Town, Pa.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, March 14 at Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, March 15 at the Wesleyan Church, Magnolia Springs. Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park.
