"font-family:">Nova Lee Nutt, 86, a native of Monroe County, Ala., a former resident of Foley and a resident of Loxley, died Monday, Dec. 5, 2011.
"font-family:">Mrs. Nutt was a member of the Eastern Star, a charter member of the First Baptist Church in Tehran, Iran and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Foley.
"font-family:">She was known for her pecan pies and red velvet cakes.
"font-family:">She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Raymond Nutt; and a daughter, Jacqueline Vina Nutt.
"font-family:">Mrs. Nutt is survived by six daughters, Faye Wilson Raley of Bon Secour, Julia Shores of Houston, Texas, Crystal Nutt Griffith of Prattville, Ala., Karen Nutt of Loxley, Carolyn Nutt of Booneville, Mo. and Kristen Lee Nutt of Elberta; one brother, John Robert Johnson of Bon Secour; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
"font-family:">Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011, at 2 p.m., at Mack Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Rick Long officiating. Burial will be in Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley.
"font-family:">A visitation will be held Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 6-8 p.m., at Mack Funeral Home.
