Andrew S. Novak, 82, a native of New Jersey and a resident of Daphne, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2007.

After being drafted into service in 1943, he was selected to join the Army Specialized Training Program. He later joined the 102nd Infantry in the European Theatre of World War II where he earned two Bronze Stars. He retired as an operations supervisor from Chevron Corporation after 37 years.

Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Grace Novak; two sons, Kenny (Debbie) Novak of Hurley, Miss., and Steven (Tracey) Novak and his wife Tracey of Fairhope; two daughters, Judi Clark and Mary (Dave) Paradis, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; 13 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a brother, Joe Novak of Fairhope.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m., followed by services at 11 a.m., Saturday, Aug. 11 at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Belforest Catholic Cemetery.

Arrangements are by Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., Daphne.
