Acrylic painting with Jane Sellier

Jane breaks down the painting process into easy to follow steps so you gain a thorough understanding of what it is that makes a painting work. Her goal is to remove the fear factor so people can enjoy painting their own canvases. Her goal is "Have fun, be experimental and share it with others." It’s held 9 a.m.-noon on Wednesdays for six weeks, Feb. 22-March 28, with a $75 fee.

Beginning-Intermediate watercolors with Rich Willows

So you think you want to paint! For those with little or no experience—you will explore the basics of paints, paper, brushes etc., as well as learning many basic techniques and how to apply them to your original watercolor paintings.

It’s held 9-11:30 a.m. pm Mondays for four weeks, Feb. 20 March 12, with a $65 fee.

Pastels with Tommy Vogel

Talented local artist, Tommy Vogel, will introduce you to drawing with pastels. This pastel class will focus on technique, color application and composition. Students will complete a work in each lesson. Take this fun class. Stop by the Arts Center to see some of Tommy's works on display.

It’s held 1-3 p.m. Wednesdays for six weeks, Feb. 22- March 28, with $100 fee, supplies included.

Wing on the right side of the brain with Mary Lou Nicolia

"Can't even draw stick figures" or "I can paint, but drawing is too hard." You will love this class. It's a big thrill for Mary Lou to teach beginning to advanced drawing! You will be taught at your level. This fun class will expand your seeing ability, and give you the tools and skills to communicate visually what you are seeing and feeling.

It’s held 9-11:30 a.m. Thursdays for six weeks, Feb. 23-March 29, with $90 fee.

Watercolor class with Barbra Curtis

Begin to unravel the mysteries of watercolor. Complete three paintings; pot with geraniums, a rose and the Rainbow Bridge in Utah. Learn all about watercolor and techniques. One class of fun with straws and soap.

It’s held 12:30-3 p.m. Tuesdays for six weeks, Feb. 7-March 13, with $80 fee.
