The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office is searching for Steve Edward Brown of Stapleton. Brown, 34, is a black male who has a listed address of 9541 Stevens Place in Stockton.

According to a news release, Brown is wanted for attempted murder, shooting into an occupied dwelling and stalking. These charges stem from an altercation that occurred Feb. 2 around 10 p.m. on Judges Circle in Stockton, sheriff's spokesman Maj. Anthony Lowery said. Investigators believe that Brown used a small caliber weapon to shoot two victims inside a residence on Judges Circle.

The two victims were taken to area hospital and treated for gun shot wounds. The female victim was shot numerous times. Both victims have been released from the hospital, a news release said.

Anyone with information about Brown is asked to contact the Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office at 937-0202. The sheriff’s office considers Brown to be armed and dangerous.
