Oliver K.Palanjian,87, of Ocean City, NJ, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2012 at his home.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, he was formerly of Hatboro, PA, resided in Orange Beach, AL, and has summered in Ocean City, NJ since 1959. Mr. Palanjian was a Veteran of World War II, serving with the United States Marines before his honorable discharge. He worked as a Claims Adjuster for SEPTA in Philadelphia, PA. Mr. Palanjian enjoyed auto mechanics, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Roxborough, PA and a member of A.A.C.A. Cape Region. He served as a volunteer fireman in Orange Beach, AL. Surviving are a son, Kerry Palanjian of Hatboro, PA, a daughter, Carol Pearson, and her husband Evan of Orange Beach, AL, and a brother, Setrak Palanjian of Atco, NJ. A Service of Memory and Love will be offered Wednesday afternoon at three o’clock from The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, NJ where friends may call from two o’clock until the time of service.
