Opal Elizabeth Soesbe, 79, a life long resident of Foley, passed away Monday, Aug. 22, 2011.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John R. Soesbe; a daughter, Sandra Soesbe; and a grandchild, John Russell Soesbe III.
Mrs. Soesbe is survived by her three daughters, Mary (Carl) Haber of Fairhope, Joan (Mike) Brokowsky of Foley and Susan Soesbe of Andrews, N.C; one son, John (Amanda) Soesbe of Loganville, Ga.; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and many other family and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 24, 2011 at 10 a.m., from the chapel of Wolfe-Bayview Funeral Home, Foley.
The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until time of the service.
Interment will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park, Foley.
