County Electric Membership Charitable Foundation announced the
launch of the Operation Round Up Star Light
Award.
"font-family: Times New Roman">This is an educational grant program
designed to provide support to teachers for the direct purpose of
improving learning through a specific lesson or project in the
classroom using innovative or creative
techniques.
"font-family: Times New Roman">“We are excited to be able to help
local teachers and students,” says Katie Warren, Operation Round Up
chairman. “This is what Operation Round Up is all about, improving
the quality of life within our community.”
"font-family: Times New Roman">All kindergarten through 12th grade
teachers in accredited public and private schools within the
Baldwin EMC service area are eligible to apply. Grants will be
awarded to those teachers who demonstrate that their project
benefits and directly involves students, involves teamwork, and
will be an innovative learning experience.
