Oran Neil Calton, 59, beloved husband, father and brother, passed from this life on March 14, 2014.
A native of Pierce City, Mo., he was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Lee Calton and Vera Lea Hawkins Calton of Missouri; his brother, James Bentley Calton of Missouri; and his wife of 20 years, Linda Hicks Calton of Mobile.
He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Jane Bruce Isaacks Calton; two sisters, Teresa Lee Calton of LaPlace, La. and Romona Lynn Malcom (John) of Diamond, Mo.; and three wonderful children, Aren Neil Calton of Gulf Shores, and Thomas Andrew Calton and Julea Rose Bruce, both of Daphne.
Neil was a veteran of the U.S. Army and a man of great integrity and intelligence.
He loved playing poker and old school video games, and never met a stranger. His humor, wit and heart will be greatly missed by all who loved him.
A memorial service will be on Saturday, March 22, 2014, from 4-7 p.m. at Hughes Funeral Home, 7951 American Way in Daphne.
