ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — The buzzz is quieter this week as the City of Orange Beach remembers the contributions of Councilman Al Bradley.  This man gave of his service and talents unselfishly for you, me others and future generations of Orange Beach. His leadership was from a position of knowledge and understanding, and only emotional when trying to explain the magnitude of a complex situation in simple sound bites. He gave freely to all with no strings attached. He took nothing.

City employees stated “What would Al do?” as a call to action for all to show acts of kindness to those you come in contact with this week as a way to honor his memory. He was an “all in” supporter of starting an independent school system in Orange Beach because he knew the economic benefits would carry on for generations. Rest in peace our friend and may God comfort and bless your family and our community in coping with such a great loss while striving to fulfill the vision set before us.

Several City employees are dealing with tragedy in their personal lives, so your continued support and prayers are appreciated.
