ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — Jim Prough has been coming to the Gulf Coast since 1963 and when he returns, he volunteers at Bingo at St. Thomas-by-the-Sea Church in Orange Beach. The popular game is played every Thursday night through March. Doors open at 5 p.m. with Early Bird Games starting at 5:30. Regular games start at 6:30. Food and beverages are available for purchase. The games benefit Mary’s Shelter Gulf Coast, a home for homeless pregnant women who choose life for their unborn child. With Prough are Nancy Larson, left, and Sharon Vance.
