The Orange Beach Community Theatre and the Expect Excellence program are holding auditions for their next production. The name has yet to be released but the word on the street is it’s an 80s musical.

Auditions are open to everyone from third grade to senior citizens. In person and video conference auditions are being held Tuesday, Feb. 2 through Friday, Feb. 5 from 1-4 p.m. and 5:30-6:30 p.m. Audition reservations are required.

Those wishing to audition should prepare an 80s pop song and an 80s ballad/power ballad along with a comedic and dramatic one minute monologue for the audition. A cold reading of select scenes from the script will be required. You will also learn and perform a brief segment of choreography.
