Thursday at 6 p.m., the Orange Beach Library will present, “Historical Fiction: How Does One Begin to Write” with Jan Smith. This program will be held in the library meeting room and will introduce the basics of researching and writing historical fiction.
Smith is a retired teacher of English, Speech and Creative Writing to middle and high school students. She has published several books, including “Remembering the Maine: Riding with Roosevelt” and “Rambling ’Round Maine.” Ms. Smith will have copies of her book available for sale and signing after the program.
