ORANGE BEACH, AL - On Oct. 27 at 6 p.m. the Friends of the Orange Beach Public Library are excited to host an event to celebrate the publication of “Roses from the Sand,” a book of poetry compiled during the past 10 years by Patsy Rose, to whom the book is dedicated.

The event will be in the Orange Beach Senior Activity Center. The book showcases poetry written by the children of Orange Beach, for the annual Poetry Contest put on by the Orange Beach Public Library.

There will be light refreshments served, and any household represented in the book will be presented with a free copy. Otherwise, copies of Roses from the Sand will be available for purchase for $7.
