ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — The Orange Beach Lions Club recently made a donation to The Orange Beach Backpack Program to help purchase provisions for the upcoming holiday season.

Karen Clark of the Orange Beach Backpack Program accepted a check from Lions Club member Bonnie Lee. For more information on the Orange Beach Backpack Program, contact Karen at 251-978-4857.

The Orange Beach Lions Club also made a donation to the Christian Service Center. Mr. Tom Gauntt of the Christian Service Center’s food pantry, accepted a check from Lions Club members Charles Larrimore and Pam Davis. According to Mr. Gauntt, the donation will provide approximately 42 turkeys to needy families during the upcoming holidays.
