1. Major Planned Unit Development modification: 0401PUDA09

– Zeke’s Landing Marina PUD expansion. Location: East of Jefferson Ave. ROW; west of Madison Ave. ROW; north of Taylor Lane; and south of Cotton Bayou.

Owner/Applicant: Applicant: HMR, LLC; Owner: ZLM Acquisition, LLC

Request: Recommendation of a request to rezone 2.12 acres from RS3

(SingleFamily

Residential) to PUD (Planned Unit Development) for inclusion into the ZLM PUD to increase the

overall PUD size from 5.10 to 7.22 acres from the purpose of constructing a parking area for the ZLM PUD.

– Zoning Principles.

Request: Amend Article 12 of the Zoning Ordinance, Administration, to establish zoning

principles in evaluating zoning and rezoning requests.

3. Zoning Text Amendment: 0403ZT09

– Good Neighbor Fencing. Location: City of Orange Beach.

Owner/Applicant: City of Orange Beach.

Request: Amend Article 5.03 of the Zoning Ordinance, Fences and Hedges, to establish guidelines for post and supporting members for fences in all zoning districts.

4. Zoning Text Amendment: 0404ZT09

– Restaurant Shared Parking. Location: City of Orange Beach.

Owner/Applicant: City of Orange Beach

Request: Amend Article 8.01, o. & p. of the Zoning Ordinance, Required Off Street

Parking, to clarify 60 percent shared parking for restaurants, lounges, and other eating and drinking places that are accessory uses to hotels or other primary uses.

5. Zoning Text Amendment: 0302ZT09

– Beach Overlay Fencing. Location: Beach Overlay District

Owner/Applicant: City of Orange Beach.

Request: Amend Article 10.0306 of the Zoning Ordinance, Beach Overlay District, to regulate fencing in the Beach Overlay District. Deferred from the Planning Commission meeting of March 9, 2009.

6. Zoning Text Amendment: 0102ZT09

– Digital/Electrical Changeable copy signs.

Location: City of Orange Beach.

Owner/Applicant: City of Orange Beach.

Request: Amend Article 15 of the Zoning Ordinance, Sign Regulations, to define changeable copy signs and to expand to allow certain digital/electrical changeable copy signs with limits in size and frequency of message. Deferred from the Planning Commission meeting of March 9, 2009.

7. Planned Unit Development Zoning and Preliminary Master Plan approval: 0402PUD05

– The Retreat at Orange Beach. Location: Canal Road along Bay La Launch, west of Sampson Ave.

Owner/Applicant: Blackburn Properties & Investment, LLC.

Request: Request from the City of Orange Beach, Community Development Department, to

repeal Ordinance # 2006965 dated April 18, 2006, to rezone six parcels (PIN #51936, 226984, 73323, 3348, 53421 and 82404) from RS1 (SingleFamily

Residential) to PUD (Planned Unit

Development). The zoning of the parcels will return to its original classification of RS1.
