ORANGE BEACH, Ala.—The 2014 Orange Beach Polar Bear Classic junior tennis tournament was held at the City of Orange Beach Tennis Center last week. Some 69 players from Alabama, Florida, Mississippi and North Carolina competed in the three day tournament.

Brian Harsany and Jodi Harsany of Cobalt Restaurant sponsored the annual event.  Due to rain Friday evening, Steve Humphrey of Gulf Coast Tennis Club allowed us to play at his indoor facility Friday night through Saturday afternoon. Beautiful Sunday weather followed and play was finished Sunday afternoon at Orange Beach Tennis Center. The next Orange Beach junior tennis tournament will be, “Battle at the Beach” Sept-Oct.
