ORANGE BEACH, Ala. - The Perdido Beach Resort, will celebrate Labor Day weekend by hosting its first ever "Labor Day Beach Bash in theSand" on Sept. 4.

The event will include activities on the hotel beach decks as well as on the beach itself that promise fun for the entire family. Beach events start at 3 p.m. on Sunday with live entertainment directly on the beach from 3-6 p.m. by a steel drum band and on the Beach Deck by Hotwire, a high energy dance band beginning at 6-9 p.m.

Along with live entertainment, an All American Cook Out with hamburgers, hot dogs, vegetarian portabella burgers, various side dishes, ice cream novelties and tropical frozen drinks will be available for purchase. Family recreation is slated for the day to include water balloon launchers, volleyball, Frisbee Frenzy, Ladder Golf, bubble machines for the kids and an evening crab hunt.
