ORANGE BEACH, Ala. — Member artists of the Orange Beach Art Center are exhibiting their works surrounding the theme “At Home” now through April 29 as part of the Friends of the Arts Special Exhibit Series.

This annual member’s show is an opportunity for the nearly 100 members of OBAC to show off new work and compete with their peers for substantial prize money.

The Art Center’s artists work in a wide variety of mediums:  clay, oils, glass, watercolors, textiles, acrylics and in a wide range of styles.

The theme, home, has been interpreted in ways as varied as our artists themselves. From the young mother to the retired educator, our artists tell us a story of home whether it be a sailboat or an abstracted backyard.

Join the Friends of the Arts and support our local artists at an artists’ reception on Thursday, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. (complimentary appetizers).

The Orange Beach Art Center is at 26389 Canal Road. Call (251) 981-ARTS.
