Otis Blocker died Feb. 15, 2012.
He was a veteran of 27 years, two wars and the recipient of military commendations and medals.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Blocker; children Elizabeth, Phillip, Liana, Sean, Johnathan and Michael; sister, Verda Cooper; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be sent to the American Cancer Society.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. March 11 at First Assembly of God, Robertsdale.
