Edward Parker, 78, born July 17, 1930 in Elba, a resident of Foley, died Tuesday, Dec. 9, 2008 in Foley.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Jean Cummings Parker of Foley; three daughters, Becky (Greg) Poynter of Lithia, Fla., Brenda (Rich) Conroy of Denver and Vickie Bowshier of Fairborn, Ohio; two sons, Scott (Tammy) Williams of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, and Alan (Angie) Brown of Springfield, Ohio; three sisters, Lucille Phillips of South Vienna, Ohio, Eleanor Rarey of Foley and Jean (Gene) Mayson of Foley; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation begins at noon with funeral services at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12 at Pine Rest Funeral Home in Foley with Brother Glen Henson officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Rest Memorial Park in Foley.
